Born in Montreal, Canada, Jandu had no intention of becoming a vocalist, but his fellow group members from the popular local bhangra group, Sonay Gabroo Punjab De, discovered the natural talent among them.<\/p>\n<p>Jandu continued to hone his vocal technique by receiving vocal training from Pandit Mahesh Mulwani and Ustad Jagjit Singh. By the age of 18, he developed his own musical style \u2014 a traditional Punjabi flow with a touch of urban.<\/p>\n<p>In 2009, he released his debut album, \u201cNach,\u201d and he released his second album, \u201cIn the Deep,\u201d in 2012. His hit single \u201cA Giya Ni Ohi Billo Time\u201d reached over seven million views on YouTube.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout his career, Jandu has produced and released a number of tracks with other top artists in the Punjabi music industry.
